Most importantly, too many young women are afraid that serious bodybuilding time with heavy weightlifting will leave them bulky and masculine-looking. Fear not, ladies – this model’s almost perfect genetics have let her build a much more muscular body than most women could ever achieve drug-free, and even at this upper-most extreme you can be sure no one will ever think she looks like a man! Female Fitness Models 01 settles the debate on whether female fitness models should be allowed to wear a thong in fitness competitions – when one has worked hard enough to build a perfectly rounded butt like the one here, it deserves to be displayed! It’s not just about having a sexy ass though – the gluteus maximus is a muscle, needs to be worked and shredded like any other muscle, and needs to be proportionately sized and shaped to the rest of any female fitness model’s rear view. With that much effort put in, they deserve to show it off proudly, we deserve the right to photograph it sensually, and YOU deserve the right to view it!

Male Fitness Models 03 – Chiseled Hunk On The Rocks

Male Fitness Models 03 sports the chiseled abs, bulging biceps and well-muscled chest of our male fitness model, proving once again that a bit of creativity can give you excellent fitness photos for your modeling portfolio without being stuck with just the traditional bodybuilding poses. And judging by the crowd of ladies attracted to this chiseled hunk on the rocks during our photo shoot, women seem to enjoy seeing male fitness models in new positions!

Male Fitness Models 02 – 3 Male Fitness Models Form ‘Teri’s Angels!’

Male Fitness Models 02 depicts 3 male fitness models each representing their favorite sport – archery, martial arts and baseball. While all 3 are posed to best display their sport, careful attention was paid to ensure their bulging muscles and cut physiques were displayed nicely too. Teri has named this photo ‘Teri’s Angel’s', saying with a wink: “I figure if Charlie can have HIS angels, I can have MY angels too!”

Male Fitness Models 01 – Not Your Standard Male Fitness Model Pose…

Male Fitness Models 01 shows that shooting male fitness models doesn’t get boring as long as you use some creativity in your photo shoots. In standard shoots, male fitness models use weights to pump up, oil themselves down and strike the classic poses, but this was definitely NOT your standard male fitness photoshoot! After doing a few overhead presses with a gorgeous female fitness star, our model was pumped and ready for this shot. Neither model had any complaints, and we loved getting this much more creative shot that demonstrated his size and power better than any standard bodybuilding pose ever could.

Fitness Photography 03 – Capturing The Workout…

Fitness Photography 03 shows celebrity fitness trainer Harley Pasternak in the gym – notice that a slightly slower shutter speed is used to show the movement of the weights, which gives the photo more of a feeling of capturing a gym workout than a posed modeling shoot.

Note: This shot is from a photospread we did with Harley Pasternak to illustrate a feature on him for UMM Magazine, and was shot in his private training facilities while he was still living in Toronto. Moving to Hollywood, Harley has gone on to train celebrities including Halle Berry, Lady Gaga and Hillary Duff, is one of the top personal trainers to the stars and creator of the 5-Factor Fitness programs. Fitness Photography 01 – Aerobic Workouts Can Be Sexy Too!

Fitness Photography 01 captures our beautiful fitness model taking a break during her inline skating workout and the flames on her bikini aren’t the only thing that’s HOT! Fitness models work very hard to stay in such amazing shape, with aerobics as much a part of their training routine as their exercise workout. But when possible, skip the treadmill and exercise bike and get out on your blades – not only is it great for toning the entire body, burning calories and conditioning your system, but done right it can give you a great butt like our fitness model displays here!

As the former publisher of Canadian Blader Magazine, Doug is all too aware of the injuries that can befall even the best skaters when they don’t wear their full protective gear – and it ‘ain’t pretty!’. Artistic Nude Photography 06 – Hide Your Bare Behind Long Hair!

Artistic Nude Photography 06 shows the magnificent results when a sexy and beautiful model goes all natural when au natural! Although she’s only wearing her g-string as she kneels facing the camera, she still has nothing showing since her hair hides the strategic areas of her bare breasts.

One of the most obvious divides in the modeling world is between the runway models and those doing editorial fashion work versus those in swimwear catalogs, lingerie catalogs and nude magazines and photographic and adult websites. In the former case, artistic directors want shorter hair, smaller chests, non-existent derrieres and anything else they can think of to make you into something that ranges from unisexual to looking like a 12-year-old boy. The latter group, including the photographers here at Champigny Photography, much prefer to celebrate all that is woman about you.

And while both sexes now can wear their hair long, the tradition still holds of the beauty of long, flowing hair on a woman, probably a holdover from the days when only the rich and single young women had the time to keep long hair properly and had a lifestyle luxurious enough not to make their long hair a burden. But whatever the reason, one look at the photo above will confirm that longer hair is a blessing in lingerie, bikini and nude modeling! If your daily routine prevents you from keeping your hair long and luxurious, spend some time shopping for a wig that suits you perfectly. Unless, of course, you don’t like shopping…

Artistic Nude Photography 05 – Using The Side Of The Bed In Your Artistic Nude Modeling

Artistic Nude Photography 05 finds our nude model laying on the edge of the bed, one leg hanging down and the other bent at the knee with her foot towards her.

This is a relatively common pose you’ll want to keep in mind for your nude modeling sessions as it’s one of the more versatile nude poses. Rising up on your elbow keeps your breasts from flattening out on the bed, and by arching your back more or less you can control how much of the breast is visible in the photo, and whether you want the nipples showing or not. Additionally, a photographer taking the photo from the low angle we’ve used here shows only the silhouette of your bottom, while moving the camera higher will display more and more of your behind. When shooting with a professional photographer using digital cameras, ask them to take a few with your chest at various levels, then shots taken on a variety of angles from directly above you to slightly below the plane of your body, as shown here. After the shoot you can compare the various pose variations and camera angles to find the shots that look best, exposing you as much or as little as you prefer.

Artistic Nude Photography 04 – Remember That Your Model Is Nude!

Artistic Nude Photography 04 shows our model nude at poolside, with her arm and hand covering her breasts. Once again we’re portraying a beautiful woman who is obviously nude, yet everything is still left to your imagination.

Take note of the thick fluffy robe under her, placed there to protect her delicate behind while sitting and moving about on the hard tiles of the pool apron. If your photographer does not take your comfort into consideration when shooting nude on location, speak up immediately – not only can it be damned uncomfortable with your bare butt on tiles, in snow or sitting on a hay bale, but the next photographer you’re shooting with is NOT going to appreciate the time it takes them to clone out the bruises detracting from your otherwise-perfect behind!

Artistic Nude Photography 03 – Keeping Topless Models Artistic Nudes…

In Artistic Nude Photography 03 our model is laying back on the bed, her corset discarded and lying beside her, topless in just g-string and red lace stockings. In artistic nude photography bare breasts and/or a bare behind are still considered proper, but for some publications the nipples must be covered too, as our topless model has done in the photo by crossing her arms over her chest.

If you’re a model booking a photo shoot where you’ll be doing nude modeling, be sure to get some shots that qualify this way too, as you probably don’t yet know which magazines and websites you’ll be submitting your nude photos to, and there are many different standards of what’s acceptable in print and online.

Artistic Nude Photography 02 shows a second way to shoot nude models for artistic nudity. While our model is obviously nude except for her jewelry, shooting from the side allows angles that produce great artistic nude photography while being sure there’s still ‘nothing showing’.

Artistic Nude Photography 01 – Nude Models Aren’t Always Naked…

Artistic Nude Photography 01 is a perfect example of ‘artistic nude photography’, a modeling and photographic industry term for photos of nude models with ‘no full-frontal nudity’. There is often confusion between this, nude photography which can and usually does include genitalia (often focusing specifically on those ‘bits’), and pornography which captures the physical sex act. Of the three, artistic nude photography is usually considered the least offensive, remains within societal norms and produces the most sensual and erotic photos, since something has been left to the imagination of the viewer.

Here, our nude model uses a strategically-placed shawl to cover just those parts, adding that hint of tease to make these incredibly sexy photos part of a very steamy photoshoot!
